Nicholas with his new frog Mommy got for him.  Daddy got him his outfit, but the legs and sleeves were too small.  So, Daddy got the scissors out and turned Nicholas into Larry the Cable Guy look alike.

Nicholas' Outting in mid 70's weather (18 Feb 11)

Nicholas plays peek-a-boo with Madeline while Aunt Penny holds him.  Pap Pap is under the weather and Mommy looks on.

Mommy & Nicholas over at Nanna & Pap Pap's.  The weather was in the mid 70's, so Nicholas is ready for some outdoor adventures.

Maybe not too ready for all the outdoor adventures.

After going to Nanna & Pap Pap's, then going to the car wash, going to dinner, going to the grocery store and back home, Nicholas has had enough.  He did manage to wake up for his eveing meal and play time before retiring for the evening.

5 Months Old

 Our little man turned 5 months today!. He is continuing to grow like a little weed. He has outgrown his clothes quickly and now wears 6-9months. Each day Nicholas surprises us with the cutest faces and noises. He has now found his hands and puts them in his mouth every chance he gets especially when mommy is trying to feed him.

 He is still a little behind in his hands skills but has shown great progress in gripping on more to toys and tries to hold his own bottles (for a few seconds) and he reaching out to touch Daddy and Mommy when we are playing with him.  

 Nicholas is very alert and is well aware of his surroundings. His head turns in every direction to see what is going on. He follows his daddy’s every move. He loves watching Mickey’s Clubhouse, Chuggington and Handy Mandy, but in small doses.

 He is really starting to get used to the nice ladies at CDC. They work hard with him and when I come to pick him up he has a lot to tell us about his day. He has been sleeping through the night for about a month now!!

We are so grateful that God gave us Nicholas and we cherish him everyday. :)

Daddy & Nicholas Day (7 Feb 11)

Daddy feedin Nicholas carrots.  Nicholas not too keen on the carrots.  Daddy threatened Nicholas he was going to feed them for breakfast if he did not eat them now.  But, instead he wore half of 'em.
