1st Road Trip out of State...



Nicholas' 1st stop was to see Kathy in Raleigh, NC.  200 plus miles and traveled great. 29 Oct 10.



Nicholas made it to Aunt Nickie's after seeing Kathy.  A total of 600 miles plus all in one day.  He had a right to be fussy; but excellent little traveler. 30 Oct 10.

2nd Doctor's visit..

Nicholas wore out from seeing the Doctor 27 Oct 10.  Nicholas received a good bill of health and is growing well.  He is 20 3/4", 8lbs 2 oz.  He has grown 2 1/4" and gained 2.8lbs. since 4 Oct 10.  Nicholas got his iron tested that's why he has a band aid on his middle finger; not giving any of us the one finger salute.

Pap Pap's 64th Birthday

Nicholas - 1 month & 5 Days

It is so hard to believe our little man is over 1 month old.  It has been an adventure for Rob & I over the past month. We have spent alot of our time getting to know our son and his habits/personality. He is such a sweet baby even though we have him spoiled already!  He loves to cuddle with us and fall asleep on our chests (I know he is spoiled).

Nicholas has his next doctors visit on Wednesday next week. We can't wait to find out how much he weighs. We can tell that he has picked some weight up as he is getting a double chin and rolls on his legs. He is up to eating about 4 ounces each feeding (2 1/2 to 3 hours apart).

We are so thankful that God has given us a sweet little boy and that he will continue to grow healthly.

Nicholas 18-19 Oct 2010

Mommy and me sleeping on the floor.  This is the only way Mommy & Daddy can get sleep is when I make them put me like this on them.

My favorite position (Frog) on Mommy or Daddy' chest.

Ryder earned a couple of bucks for sweepin out the shed and got a new broom & pan to fit his size.

Cousin Ryder came to see me but Daddy put him to work out in the shed while I had to put up with Nana & Pap inside.

Maw Maw was only interested in me!!!  I think she just talked to Mommy for translation and blew Daddy off totally.  I am the "MAN"!

Maw Maw (Simensen) is Uncle Charlie's Mommy.



Pap Pap came down to see me, but all I wanted to do was eat and go back to sleep.
