Nicholas' Daddy Day 8 Nov 2016

Nicholas finally got a Daddy Day!  We started out by going to the Voting Polls and I explained to him how and why we vote for a President every four years.  And it is Leap Year and Olympics all the same fourth year.  The went for breakfast and a nature walk at Calendine Park.  The walk was longer than I anticipated about six miles.  Nicholas asked what the benches are for out in the middle of no where?  I told him it was for old people like me.  He was sitting on everyone he could find on the way back.  He wanted me to carry him too!

Massenutten Resort, VA Weekend Nov 2016

Our weekend get away up to Massenutten, VA a couple of hours away up in the mountains.  Started off with swimming after check-in and dinner.

The next morning to McDonald's for breakfast, but the Caboose next to the restaurant.

Up on top of one of the skiing mountains getting fresh air and getting some pics.

Back down at the bottom around a lake.

Massennutten Water Park.  The boys had no intention of slowing down once in and around the water.

Back at the room and the boys in their bed watching TV and eating popcorn.  Great weekend; but goes by too fast.
