Nicholas has been going through a lot with his breathing issues and going to the doctors frequently for ear infections and colds. We are finally getting his treatments down pat and knowing what triggers his breathing issues and we have adjusted accordingly. We do have an appointment to see an ENT next week about his ear infections and they might want to put tubes in his ears. Although he has been through all these illnesses he still has a been such a great boy.
Nicholas loves playing with all his neat toys. He is such an outdoor person. He enjoys taking walks with us in his red car and just recently he is enjoying playing with his new slide/swing set Nana & Pap Pap bought him. He giggles as he goes down the slide. Ms. Gail Remington got him this cool truck that makes lots of noises and his eyes move, Nick just looks at the lights and eyes in amazement. He pushes that truck all around the family room. Aunt Joni got him a sit and spin for his birthday and we have been teaching him to hold on as he giggles but his weight shifts and he falls off. It is so funny!
Nicholas LOVES Mickey Mouse. He gets so excited when the show comes up and he stares at the TV. You better not be in his way to see it. His attention span has gotten longer so he pays closer attention to movements and what everyone is doing. We really have to start paying closer attention to what we say and do so he doesn't pick up any bad habits.
If anyone has spent time around to Nicholas they can say that he has the most funny laugh and he makes all these noises. He has spoken a few words..like Mum, Da, Nana, Na, Pap Pap, Ba. He is getting around pretty quickly now with crawling and walking along the furniture and with his walking toy but hasn't gotten brave enough to walk on his own yet. We can't wait for that!! He is getting really heavy to carry everywhere.
Again, we are so thankful for our little mircale (Nicholas Jesse Faust) and hope one day we will be granted another special gift with a little brother or sister for him to play with.
