Our 4 month old!!!

Nicholas Jesse Faust turned 4 months old on 17 January 2011. He had is 4 month baby checkup yesterday. Our little man is growing like a weed. He is 14.14 lbs and 24.75 inches long. He is beginning to have a personality. He loves to smile and squeal. He gets to start experimenting with baby food. We were told to start him on vegetables. We can't wait to see how he reacts.  He is behind in his hands skills as he hasn't shown any interest in grabbing or holding of toys. His doctors gave us some ideas on activities to help him. 

On Sunday night; I began reading to Nicholas from all the nice books his cousins have passed on to him. My favorite so far is Good Night Moon. He looks at the pictures and giggles and pays attention to me while I am reading to him. I plan on making this our nightly routine.

Nicholas has really set his own schedule. Promptly at 8:00pm we better have his Oatmeal ready or he will scream. By 9:30pm he is ready for bed. He sleeps most nights to 4:00am and some until 5:30am.

He starts on 24 January 2011 at the Child Care Development Center on base, he has been staying with his Nana & Pap Pap since he was born and mommy went back to work. He really loves going there as he gets to see Ryder, Madeline and Cameron as they all entertain him. We are very grateful that Nana & Pap Pap has been there for him and we have promised them that they can kidnap him when they want!
